Pedro Ferro
International executive, strategist and author. Four decades of leading businesses, and a long conviction that a few things matter far more than the rest.
Pedro Ferro has held senior leadership roles in manufacturing and technology businesses across the United States, Asia and Latin America, including private-equity-backed companies. He was CEO of Fras-le and President of Meritor's Aftermarket, and has led many implementations of the 80/20 business process across very different companies and industries.
Central to his approach is the 80/20 business process. He has used it to simplify complex businesses, clarify strategic direction and generate measurable results, and to keep organizations concentrated on the few things that truly matter.
Born in Brazil, Pedro has spent most of his professional life working outside his native country. He holds degrees in business and in mechanical and industrial engineering, which may explain why he prefers to see the machine work rather than admire its parts.
Today he devotes himself to writing about business transformation, true profitability, systematic innovation and principled leadership. This site collects his books and his essays. His earlier books include The Vital Few Natural Laws and Lean on Steroids.
